Occassionally, we are asked whether individuals can join ATLAS® for ALUM.
ATLAS for ALUM is a program created specifically for schools and seminaries to share this online resource with the alumni/ae of their programs. Individuals are not allowed to sign up through ATLA for access, but they may have access through alma mater.

Depending on the number of cumulative living alumni, the subscription fees for ATLAS for ALUM range from $300-$1,300 per annum. Please contact atlasalum@atla.com for specifics and an introduction to your preferred aggregator.

The ATLAS® for ALUM program is generally priced to allow the alumni/ae of seminaries to have access to the online collection. Some schools, such as larger universities with affiliated seminaries, have chosen to purchase an additional subscription for the entire alumni/ae base.

Yes, our aggregators currently offer the ATLA Religion Database® for ALUM, providing access to the index records of over 500 scholarly religious journals.
There is no requirement to purchase the ATLA Religion Database for ALUM along with ATLAS® for ALUM, and access to this additional resource is not included under the current ATLAS for ALUM grant.

If you are an ATLA Institutional Member, and an ATS-Accredited School, you may qualify for a new ATLAS® for ALUM grant, generously donated by the Lilly Endowment Inc.

In order to subscribe to the ATLAS® for ALUM online collection, your institution must already have an institutional subscription to the ATLA Religion Database® (ATLA RDB®) and ATLASerials® (ATLAS®) through EBSCOhost.
